One Way Street

Halfway through our morning worship service, children 12 and under are dismissed upstairs to the One Way Street set for learning and fun! One Way Street is organized and performed by adult members of the church.

What is One Way Street?

We live in a fast-paced world. Kids are constantly bombarded with quick messages that stick with them. One Way Street is designed to capitalize upon this culture as it presents the teachings of Jesus.

One Way Street is a drama-infused Children's Church. The presentation is fast-paced and thematic. Within a 30 minute period, the kids will sing several songs, witness several dramatic presentations, and learn scripture focused upon a theme. Presently, the One Way Team is focusing their lessons on the Fruits of the Spirit from the book of Galatians. Lessons demonstrating each of the fruits are presented in a variety of dramatic sketches (i.e., monologues, puppets, songs, skits). The stage has been designed to allow for a variety of activities, some of which are interactive with the kids and some of which require only their attention. The overall mission of One Way Street is to teach kids a little more about God's love demonstrated through Jesus, and to grow the church by providing a quality children's worship.
